Johanna's 1st Zoo Class - Love Bugs

Johanna had her 1st Spring Zoo Class today. It's a class for 2 yr olds called Love Bugs. At first she just wandered around the room from station to station, but then she got into painting and stamping. There were lots of things to do - dig for bugs, crawl in the ant hole, read and do puzzles in the bee hive, and lots of crafts! They even had circle time - they sang songs, read a story, and ate a bug snack.

Johanna liked to find the lady bugs in the dirt.

I think Lady Bugs might be her favorite! She painted and painted for a long time all by herself - as long as she didn't have to wear a smock.

Crawling in the ant hole. She played with 2 other boys in the ant hole chasing each other. They giggled and laughed.

Jo stamped lots of bugs on her paper. We even brought home a couple more projects to complete at home - a butterfly antenna and wings.
