Jo's stitches

I had to get a close up of Jo's stitches before they were removed. She didn't mind, since she was playing in the tub.

Breakfast with Santa at the Zoo

On the way to Breakfast with Santa we saw a few penquins hanging out in the snow. I can't believe they were out - but they were still stinky!
Each spot had a yummy Santa cookie.
We started with a little sampling of Kringles chocolate and rasberry.
Then it was on to breakfast - wow! Do you think Jo has enough food? Her favorite was the smiley potatoes - she ate all mine off my plate.
Now a big bagel- it's as big as Johanna's head. They had some great areas set up for pictures - next year that will be our Xmas card spot. If only we would have know.
The elves came out right before Santa and one said Hi to Johanna.
Daddy's little lady.
Johanna wasn't too sure about Santa. She tolerated it until...
we put her hands down.
They also had entertainment - He sang songs, included the kids and adults, and had lots of props.

In Daddy's Salon

We were getting ready to go to Breakfast with Santa at the Zoo and Tom did Jo's hair. When we left the ER the doc said we couldn't wash Jo's hair for at least 2 days, but you saw what it looked like. We rinsed her hair to help it lay down flat. We were in a rush so Tom dryed Jo's hair.

St. Nick Visited!

Johanna recieved some fun bath things from St. Nick this morning. A Santa hooded bath towl, bath book, and bath crayons.
Is there something down there mom?
Checking out her new bath book with Daddy.

Jo's 1st ER Visit

Johanna has officially started walking everywhere! Unforunately she decided to enter the world as a walker with a bang! Or should I say a thud... Johanna was walking out of our bedroom, tripped and hit her head on the corner of the wall. I grabbed her up and when I looked at her, she had blood gushing down her face. So off to the ER we went. Jo was a trooper at the ER. She ran up and down the halls for about 30 minutes before she was seen. When she got her stitches she was swaddled and strapped down. She barely cried, just closed her eyes and whined a little.
Daddy pointing out blood spots all over Jo's shirt.

Playing Kitchen

Thanks Hoiby's for giving us your kitchen for Johanna to play with. She loves to put her baby in the frig - see the leg hanging out? Ouch! Jo feeding Jake some pretend corn - mmm
See my tongue!
